Our take
I've been testing the graphite-shafted SIM2 Max irons and they are a joy to swing. The Ventus 6 graphite shafts are lightweight, making it easier to generate clubhead speed. The regular flex is perfect for my mid-swing tempo. The 5-AW set is well-balanced. The graphite shafts also reduce vibration, giving a smooth feel. However, the set is made in China, unlike the steel version, which might give some pause. At $599.99, it's the same price as the steel version. The standard length is good, but if you're tall, you might need extensions. Overall, these are excellent for golfers looking for lightweight performance.
